The function of the Home and School Association is to act as the official parish organization in the promotion of Parent-Teacher activities at the school. It works to unite the parents and teachers of St. Joseph School in coordinating the spiritual and educational forces of the Home, School, and Community in a program of Catholic Child training. This is accomplished by offering, through planned programs, information of particular interest to parents; encouraging the maintenance of high standards of family and community; and creating a greater appreciation of Catholic Education.
The SJS Home and School Association supports and encourages many activities to benefit students. Parents volunteer as teacher’s aides, drivers for field trips and in various roles in the fundraising activities, they sponsor. Meetings are held on the Second Monday of the month at 7:00. Agendas and minutes from the meetings will be posted on the website.
