Welcome back to the Library! Come and check out what is new in the library! Over the summer I moved around books and shelves. A very big thank you goes out to all of the volunteers that helped with the reconstruction of the music room and the library. Now we have a lot more room to stretch out and read this year! The kids have all enjoyed getting to pick a spot and read.I would also like to thank everyone who donated books to the library over the summer. If I couldn’t use them or I already had a copy of the book they were passed on to the teachers. Just a reminder, if a book is damaged while you have it checked out, don’t try to fix it yourself. Tape can damage the book even worse then a tear can. I have special glue that I use on the books that is made for tears and torn out pages. Please just let me know by a note that the book has a problem and I will get it repaired. Also, I try to remind the kids about putting their water bottle in their backpacks with the books. We have had a lot of books ruined the last couple of years this way. I really have no way of fixing water damage due to a mold issue. So then you end up paying for a damaged book. |
