It's tough to keep quiet about a good thing!  That's how I feel about our new parish website as we draw closer to advertising its full operation on the web later this month.  In anticipation of the big announcement, I shared the news on July 4th with parishioners who attend daily Mass at St. Joseph's. They can connect with their parish at www.stjosephmcpherson.com.  If you happen to be one of those first few who have learned about this site, a special welcome to you!

 Working with a diocesan-based Website "construction" and consultation company called Solutio (www.solutiosoftware.com), we have created this site as a means of reaching out to our parish members and also evangelizing through the use of technology.  In the weeks ahead, I, along with our parish secretary, Marian Hall and school principal, Peggy Bahr, will begin adding information to the site for both parish and school calendars, parish committees, and parish activities.  We are grateful to Mr. Al Jirak, the web design specialist with Solutio, for spending a full day with us to teach us the features of website maintenance. 

Our target date to announce the launch of the new site is the weekend of July 19 and 20.  In the meantime, please let us know what you think of the site and what we can do to improve it's performance for the parish!  Welcome, again!
