Laurinda has completed her 3rd year of teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School. She currently teaches part-time music and band.

Laurinda graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor in Music Education 1997. Collectively, she has eight years experience teaching music and band. Her first three years of teaching were spent in Southern Oklahoma and focused on grades 5-12 concert band and marching band. After having her first child she stayed home for 9 months and subsequently started teaching at All Saints Catholic School in Norman, OK. While as ASCS she focused on educating younger children, Pre-K through 8th grade, in the musical arts. After 2 years at ASCS she had her second child and stayed home to spend more time with her family. Once her husband finished graduate school at the University of Oklahoma the family was relocated to McPherson. She has been teaching at St. Joseph’s Catholic School since 2005.

She and husband, Stace, have been married since 1998 and have three children: Kailey, Kennedy, and Kolby.

In her leisure time, Laurinda enjoys cooking, reading, crafts, and playing the piano.
