Check-list

1.  Count - out loud or in your head.

2.  Finger through the song.

3.  Play.

Things to look out for:

*phrases - make sure you breathe either during a rest or at a breath mark

*dynamic markings - is it loud or soft?

*is there a repeat?

Most books come with a CD.  Use the CD to make practice time more interesting.
