Well, I decided since we have 2 great Feast Days of the Angels coming up, I would like to thank everyone that has every been an "earthly angel" to me in someway over these years. So let's all celebrate for our earthy angels, and especially those in Heaven and those that look out for us each day, our Guardian Angels. After being at St. Joseph Catholic School and teaching these SJS Angels all of these years, I have amassed quite a collection of angels in my bedroom at the house. But a couple of my favorites that I look at every day, say these quotes:
"An Angel's Work is Never Done" "The guardian angels fly so high above us in our lives, but truly are never out of sight" and my favorite is probably this one: "If today there is any kindness I can show to another human being, let me do it so today, as for I may never pass by this way again." So that makes me reflect on this 10 Things God won't ask us on that day:
1. God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He will ask how many people you drove who needed transportation. 2. God won't ask you the square footage of your house. He will ask you how many people you welcomed into your home. 3. God won't ask you about the clothes you had in your closet. He will ask you how many people you helped clothe. 4. God won't ask you about your highest salary. He will ask you if you compromised your character to obtain it. 5. God won't ask you what your job title was. He will ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability. 6. God won't ask you how many friends you had. He will ask how many people you were a friend to. 7. God won't ask what kind of neighborhood you lived in. He will ask how you treated your neighbors. 8. God won't ask you the color of your skin. He will ask you about the content of your character. 9. God won't ask you the best food you ever ate. He will ask you if you shared with those who had none. 10. God won't ask you how you obtained these talents. He already knows they are God given and should be shared. -- "Those who plant KINDNESS, harvest LOVE." Mrs. Tammy Gipson
